Playback and library activity
The apps can save playback progress, queue state, track interactions, device handoff state, and product-interaction analytics so listening can continue across web, iOS, and Android.
Purchases and memberships
Stripe and related payment providers process checkout details. Fanful keeps the purchase, membership, entitlement, refund, and cancellation state needed to provide access and support.
Notifications
Push notification settings are separate from email settings. Native apps may register device push tokens, platform, app version, and permission state so account-level notification preferences can be respected.
Community and live features
Comments, live chat, reactions, reports, moderation actions, and artist/admin replies are stored so conversations can sync, be moderated, and stay available to listeners.
Downloads and diagnostics
Offline listening can use local files and signed manifests. Diagnostics may include app version, build number, platform, network state, permission state, and redacted error summaries.
How the data is used
We use data to operate the app, keep accounts secure, sync listening across devices, provide paid or member access, deliver selected notifications, moderate community features, improve reliability, and answer support requests.
What is shared
Payment providers, email providers, app-store platforms, hosting providers, analytics/reliability tools, and notification services may process data only as needed to run the service.
What is not sold
We do not sell listener personal data. We do not use listener comments, playback history, or purchase history for third-party advertising networks.
Your choices
You can change email and push preferences, request help with account data, cancel eligible plans, or ask for support through the contact address below.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact support so it can be reviewed.
